Restore Digestion. Improve Nutrient Status. Increase Gut Resilience.

Optimizing Gut Health & Digestion

Good health begins with a healthy gut. A healthy digestive system plays a key role in the digestion and absorption of essential nutrients and vitamins, regulates immune system function and inflammation, and has many far-reaching effects beyond just the gut itself. A healthy gut is key to common health concerns such as abdominal pain, gas, bloating, cramping, nausea, indigestion, heartburn, and food intolerances. A treatment plan focussed on gut health would typically include a comprehensive assessment and diagnosis, resulting in targeted treatment and management of your specific digestive health concerns.

Testing & Assessment

Comprehensive lab testing is available,  including stool cultures and digestive analyses, breath tests for small bowel overgrowth (SIBO) and H. Pylori, food allergy & sensitivity testing, Celiac screening, and general blood work.

Integrative Treatment Plans

Available treatments include therapeutic nutrition and dietary counseling, evidence-based, naturally focused supplementation, and personalized prescribing targeted at the root cause of your digestive concerns.

Regulate Your Cycle. Balance Your Hormones. Optimize Your Health.

Women's Health & Hormone Balancing

Women's hormones fluctuate not only day-to-day, week-to-week, and month-to-month, but throughout their entire lifecycle. Regulating your cycle and naturally balancing hormones can help reduce period pain, bloating, excessive bleeding, spotting, premenstrual symptoms such as breast pain or tenderness, mood swings, hormonal acne, cravings, and fatigue.

Testing & Assessment

I offer comprehensive lab testing that includes a complete female sex hormone panel that looks at levels of estrogen, progesterone, testosterone, LH, FSH, as well as other sex hormones. I also test for urinary hormone metabolites including DHEA-S, cortisol, and melatonin to help complete the hormonal picture. Additionally, cycle mapping and basal body temperature tracking can be used to track and support ovulation, cycle regularity, and menstrual health.

Integrative Treatment Plans

Integrative treatments include:

  • Balancing hormones naturally by identifying and reducing toxic endocrine-disrupting chemical exposure,

  • Promoting proper metabolism of hormones through liver detoxification,

  • Supporting proper female nutrition throughout different life stages,

  • Creating individualized exercise and movement recommendations,

  • Personalizing nutrient supplementation and botanical medicine interventions to support hormonal balance,

  • Consciously using safe, evidence-based prescribing of contraceptives and bio-identical menopausal hormone replacement therapy.

Fight fatigue with a complete physician's assessment and personalized treatment plan! No two individuals have the same energy or weight struggles, thus there is no single answer, cookie-cutter diet, or particular lifestyle change that will work for everyone. This is why my approach to energy, weight loss, and metabolism is patient-specific, wholistic, and is always targeted at the root cause.

Testing & Assessment

A proper assessment of your underlying health concerns is a cornerstone of any effective treatment plan. No more guessing, no more "trial and error", and no more wasted efforts. This comprehensive assessment includes a complete health history, covering previous treatments or methods tried, medical history, and lifestyle factors such as sleep, stress, nutrition, and exercise. Supportive laboratory work, including thyroid function panels, basic hematology (blood work), and nutrient status amongst other functional labs, aid in directing treatment at the underlying cause.

Integrative Treatment Plans

Treatment plans are tailored to each individual based upon their history and laboratory results. They focus on optimizing thyroid function, reducing inflammation, supporting propr liver detoxification, improving nutrient and antioxidant status, boosting metabolism, and improving energy and motivation. Specific treatments include:

  • Formulating personalized nutrition and exercise plans,

  • Developing customized supplemental support with natural botanical medicines and nutrient prescriptions, and
